How Does it Feel
During a MyReset sound journey, you may notice more than just “listening” - you might physically feel the frequencies in your body. If you don't, this doesnt mean the sound is having no effect on you - rather, it is simply the way you perceive things.
It is because these sounds interact directly with your body’s own frequencies, that anything that is out of tune will begin adjusting toward harmonic resonance.
This recalibration to a state of optimal wellness can create a variety of sensations:
- Gentle pulsing or waves moving through your body
- Warmth or coolness in certain areas
- Subtle tingling, or vibration in muscles or joints
- Shifts in pressure - often in the head, chest, or belly
- Lightness or release as tension eases
- A sense of relief, happiness, or joy
- Heightened sensation in areas of damage or pain - such as tingling, pulsing, or more vibration, as your body focuses on recalibrating those areas first
Some people also experience what they describe as a heightened sense of excitement - sometimes mistaken for anxiety. This can simply be your body’s natural response to something entirely new, or a state of heightened awareness designed to help you release stored tension.
Take note of signs of release such as sighing, yawning, or deep spontaneous breaths, tingling, electrical buzzing, or pulsing sensations - these are indicators that your system is letting go and moving toward balance.
The process isn’t always instantly soothing; sometimes it brings brief discomfort, a feeling of strangeness, or restlessness while your body does the work.
The solution is to stay with the sound until you feel calm, centred, and at ease - that’s when you know your recalibration for that session is complete.
Best Practices
For the most effective, immersive experience, listen in a calm, distraction-free space. However, your MyReset will work if you listen while doing other activities as well, anywhere and everywhere - in the car, at work, at the gym, while watching TV, or reading a book.
Listening Environment
Use headphones or earbuds for deeper resonance and focus, or speakers for a more ambient effect. Early morning or before bed are often ideal times to maximise integration, but follow your body's rhythm for what feels right.
Listening Positions
You can listen while sitting upright, lying down, or while moving, journaling, working, driving, or meditating. What matters most is that you are listening to the MyReset sound.
Choose a position that helps you relax and tune in without effort, or simply get on with the activities of daily life - your body responds to the MyReset frequencies naturally, taking from them what it needs in that moment.
Volume Control
The listening volume has an impact on its effect. Increase or decrease volume to your comfort level.
Mindful Observation
Before starting, notice how your body feels - energy, mood, breath, pain levels, and awareness.
Play the track and gently observe any shifts during and after. The more present you are, the more noticeable the effects, but the MyReset will work regardless. Try using the track at different times of day to see what works best for you.
Getting Started
Your first steps with MyReset sound journeys begin with our carefully crafted, adaptive sound frequencies designed to optimize your well-being. Simply choose the MyReset sound journey that appeals to you and listen.... your body does the rest.
Session Duration
The MyReset sound journey tracks are designed for options of 6 minutes for a Quick Reset, and you can repeat this if you feel you need more time.
The longer 30 minute sound journeys will be available at a later date, and will automatically be added to your Sound Library - for when you have more time and want to work more deeply.
Up to three sessions per day is recommended, depending on your needs. Your system gently recalibrates and integrates the sound information between sessions, so it is important to have a break between sessions.
