Energy flows through you. Not from you.
Part 2 of 3: Manifestation, Frequency and the Art of the Affirmation
In Part 1, we saw that affirmations fail when they trigger resistance, and that feeling, not thinking, is the first rule of manifestation. Now we look at what it is we are feeling, and why it matters so much: energy.

Manifesting what we truly want starts to make more sense when we look at ourselves from a more detached perspective.
If we, as human beings, are an expression of life, an expression of the energy contained within the universe, then that universal energy either flows freely through us, or it is impeded on its way through.
When it flows freely, it picks up our “flavour” and personality, including our dreams and desires, made up of our thoughts, emotions and feelings, and produces the outcome it has been shaped into as it passes through us. Impedance happens when we do not trust the process of flow: when we think we need to grab onto the energy, hold it and force it into something. Being energy, it is uncontainable, but our efforts to grab it and mould it into a shape certainly create energy chaos. The energy keeps flowing regardless of our efforts, but it is hampered and slowed down, and it becomes what it encounters within us. The more chaotic its pathway through us, the more intensely unpleasant the experience. The more easily it flows, the more pleasant we find it. This is what is called being in flow, or the flow state.
Physics has a word for zero resistance in a material: superconductivity.
A superconductor carries current with no loss of energy, and a current set going in a closed superconducting loop can keep flowing indefinitely without a power source. To be clear, the human body is not a superconductor in the literal, scientific sense. Superconductivity only happens in materials cooled to near absolute zero or held under extreme laboratory pressure, and our bodies run warm and have measurable electrical resistance. But as a metaphor, it describes exactly what we are after: a state where the mind and body offer as little resistance as possible, so that life energy passes through us as through an unobstructed conduit.
In this picture, our fearful thoughts, unhealed traumas and physical tensions are the resistance, and clearing them lets that life force move effortlessly.
This unobstructed flow of energy becomes the perfect raw material that takes on the shape and form of whatever it flows through: you and me, with the shape of our hopes and dreams, the structure of our consciousness.
It is in this way that universal energy creates our bodies and continues to flow through us, placing before us that which was picked up within us: our stated affirmations, or “order”, for what we want in our lives. As it continues to flow as this newly structured energy, it meets similar things in the world around us, making them glow with life and highlighting them for us. This is the manifest reality we see “out there”, all around us.
This leaves each of us with a choice. We can choose to develop the flow state, or we can carry on imagining that we are able to force energy in a direction because it originates within us.
Forcing energy is the ego’s position.
It assumes that life happens because of us, that we are the source of the energy and therefore its master, and that with enough effort and willpower we can push it wherever we want it to go. It feels like control, but it is the very thing that creates resistance. Every attempt to grip and steer the flow adds friction, and the energy comes out the other side carrying the shape of that struggle.
Developing the flow state is something quite different from control. It is not passivity, and it is not giving up on what we want.
It means recognising that the energy does not originate in us, it moves through us, and that our part is to shape the channel rather than to push the current. In practice, this means clearing what is in the way: the old fears, the trapped emotions, the tension held in the body. It means choosing the inner states we want the energy to pick up as it passes through, and then trusting it to do what energy does. It is a skill, and like any skill it is developed with practice: noticing when we are gripping, and then choosing to soften, and return to feeling instead of forcing.
Why does this matter?
Because the flow state is where manifestation happens with the least resistance. It is the difference between a life that keeps pushing back at us and one that seems to meet us halfway. And the choice is always ours, moment by moment.

There are two ways the flow breaks down, and they are opposites.
Chaos is uncontained, erratic, overwhelming energy.
The “voltage” is incredibly high, but it has no structure or direction. It is the natural result of trying to force the flow. In the mind, it shows up as racing thoughts, scatter, anxiety and overwhelm. In the body, the nervous system gets locked into fight-or-flight: a racing heart, shallow breathing, insomnia, that feeling of being “wired but tired”. Energetically, it feels ungrounded and highly reactive, as if our energy is leaking outward in every direction rather than being anchored in our core.
Stagnation is the opposite: energy that does not move at all, but becomes trapped and rigid.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine this is known as Qi stagnation. Emotional energy that isn’t processed gets held in the body as chronic tension, especially in the jaw, shoulders and hips, along with heaviness and fatigue. In the mind, it shows up as apathy, creative blocks, emotional flatness and that feeling of being stuck. Wilhelm Reich called the protective shell this creates “body armour”: built to keep difficult emotions contained, it also locks out joy, vitality and connection to universal energy.
If stagnation is a frozen block of ice, chaos is boiling water splashing out of the pot.
Either way, the affirmation is landing in a channel that cannot carry it cleanly. To shift out of stagnation, we gently reintroduce movement through breathwork, somatic shaking, yin yoga or emotional release, all designed to break up the block and lower the body’s resistance. To shift out of chaos, the work is the opposite: grounding, slowing down, and letting go of the urge to control.
Setting the Scene with Frequency
Frequency is energy.
Everything in the body vibrates: every cell, every organ, every system. When that vibration is organised and coherent, energy flows. When it is disrupted, we get the chaos and stagnation we have just described, and it starts right down at the level of our cells.
One of the biggest sources of that disruption is toxins. When toxins attach themselves to our DNA, they form what are called DNA adducts. These adducts sit on our genes like static on a radio signal, interfering with the clear instructions our cells need in order to function well. This is chaos at its most fundamental level.
This is where the MyReset Zone Soundscapes come in. They offer the body organised frequencies that it can recognise and resonate with, so that it can recalibrate itself, naturally.
Our own research bears this out. In our lab studies, the MyReset frequencies were associated with:
• A reduction in DNA adducts
• Reduced lymphocyte reactivity
• Improved DNA-associated zinc
• Improved glutathione levels, often called the body’s master antioxidant
In other words, as the chaos caused by toxins adducted to our genes is cleared, our cells are freed up to function as they were designed to. This is why frequency sets the scene for manifestation. A body that is organised at cellular level offers less resistance.
When the channel is clearer, the energy flows more freely, and the affirmations we place into that flow can be carried cleanly, rather than landing in chaos or getting stuck.
Coming Up in Part 3
So, with the scene set, how do we place the order? In Part 3, we look at how to shape an affirmation that your mind will actually accept, step by step, with two worked examples you can start using today.
